PharmaMitra Privacy Policy

PharmaMitra is a business-to-business medicine procurement platform operated by SOFT DECODER. This policy explains how information is handled when pharmacies, sellers and authorised staff use the PharmaMitra mobile application and website.
Information we collect
- Account information such as name, email address, username and mobile number.
- Business verification information such as pharmacy or seller name, billing address, GSTIN, drug-licence details and uploaded verification documents.
- Commerce records including seller relationships, product searches, carts, orders, invoices, returns, payments and support requests.
- Security and technical information such as session identifiers, device name, IP address, authentication events, diagnostic logs and app version.
- App usage and reliability information such as screens viewed, sign-in method, order completion events, device and operating-system information, crash reports, non-fatal errors and performance diagnostics.
- Google account identity information when you choose Google Sign-In. PharmaMitra receives the basic account identity required for authentication and does not receive your Google password.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate users, verify regulated businesses, connect pharmacies with approved sellers, provide seller-specific catalogues and prices, process orders and invoices, prevent fraud, provide support, meet legal obligations and improve reliability.
Firebase services
The Android app uses Google Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver transactional notifications, Google Analytics for Firebase to understand feature usage and ordering journeys, and Firebase Crashlytics to identify crashes and technical errors. These services may process app-instance identifiers, notification tokens, device information, usage events and diagnostic data according to Google's service terms and privacy practices. PharmaMitra does not use these tools to sell personal information or deliver third-party advertising.
Sharing and disclosure
Information is shared only as required to operate the service: with an approved seller or pharmacy involved in a business relationship or order; with authorised service providers for hosting, authentication, communications, diagnostics and payments; or with regulators and law-enforcement authorities where legally required. We do not sell personal information.
Storage, security and retention
Data is transmitted using HTTPS. Access is controlled by role and seller scope. Verification documents are restricted to authorised reviewers. Records are retained for as long as the account is active and as required for taxation, invoicing, pharmaceutical traceability, dispute resolution and other legal obligations. Records no longer required are deleted or anonymised.
Your choices and rights
You may review and correct profile information in the app. You may request access, correction or deletion by contacting us. Some invoice, order, tax, licence and audit records may need to be retained where law requires it. Promotional communication preferences can be changed without affecting transactional notices.
Account deletion
To request account deletion, use the account-deletion page linked below or email us from the address registered with your account. We verify requests before processing them.
Children
PharmaMitra is a business service for authorised adults and is not directed to children.
Changes
We may update this policy when the service or applicable requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
